This modern Concept II kitchen was a rebirth for the house. It is a perfect blend of soft and crisp; warm and cool. The cabinetry is Brookhaven frameless in Maple Champagne Stain with slab doors. Slanted ceilings made this kitchen design more challenging - a beautifully designed stainless hood enclosure was the solution.
The space opens up to a sunroom overlooking a breathtaking nature view. The colors of the outdoors were brought into the kitchen with a full slab sized island with a cantilevered end and wrap around seating. To show off the organic color and pattern, the countertop was brought up the walls a few inches. The rest of the walls were tiled with flat glass tile with iridescent pieces strategically placed throughout. The butler's pantry is a workhorse with tile up to the ceiling. This is a true cook's kitchen, full of function with a Wolf range and hidden Sub-Zero refrigerator.
